Shiitake Mushroom Functional effect: Can help liver health Daily Intake: 350mg/day
What is Shiitake mycelium extract?
Mushroom white soft hair-shaped ‘mycelia’ that takes root of an oak tree and edible ‘fruit body’ part. The key nutrients of a mushroom are much contained in mycelia where there is 4 times much more nutrients than in the fruit body.
Mycelia has very high reproduction rate and absorption ability enough to fall down a big and old oak tree. As it absorbs the entire wood part of a tree, mycelia contains even much more nutrients than the edible part of a mushroom.
The mycelia of a shiitake mushroom has variety of physiological bioactive substance including phenol compound and protein polysaccharide. Among them, β-glucan generated as the self-defensive means by mushroom mycelia during the proliferation provides excellent protection of liver and increase the immune function.
Effect of Shiitake mycelium extract
1. Helpful for liver health
2. Enhancing immune system of the human
body
3. Creates interferon, virus infection inhibitor in the human body, helping the treatment of infection diseases such as hepatitis.
4. The material called eritadenine among the extract from a shiitake mushroom declines the blood pressure.
5. Much content of quality fiber inhibits cholesterol from being absorbed to the human body.
